I teach private classes for groups of three to eight people! Feel free to drop me a line to organize a private class for yourself or your group.  Private Mosaic Classes are $225 per person

Rent space in my art studio, and get help & work on your current project!

Did you know you can rent time in the studio? You are welcome to use any tools in the studio, however you must bring your own supplies. If you would like to purchase glass for your project, that can be arranged. Working in the studio is paid for in one-hour increments, and costs $80 per hour.

A 4-day, mosaic class workshop event you do NOT want to miss, happening at my studio in Freeport, Maine! Each of the four days,  you will learn a different mosaic technique from a different master mosaic artist!  Artists teaching are all well known within the mosaic community & around the world, and have created and taught glass art for many years. Linda Biggers (New York), Frances Green (Switzerland), Elaine Helvig (USA), and Amanda Edwards (USA) will each teach a one-day version of their most requested mosaic classes! You do not want to miss this opportunity!

Classes will run 11-3 most days.  Please note: the start/end times will evolve over the next few months, however the dates and instructors will not change!

Day 1,  June 20, 2024 - Glass-on-glass mosaic windows, with Amanda Edwards. Create a window mosaic, learn to cut stained glass, about glass-on-glass adhesives and window design!

Day 2-  June 21, 2024- Mosaic Boxes, with Frances Green. Learn how to create beautiful, functional mosaics, and how to hand-color thin-set! 

Day 3-  June 22, 2024 - Slate and Glass Mandala with Linda Biggers. In this class, you'll be learning how to add slate to your mosaics & how to work with thinset as an adhesive! 

Day 4-  June 23, 2024 - Picassiette, with Elaine Helvig. Learn about this beautiful mosaic art form, and how to use &  incorporate pieces of broken & cut ceramics into your mosaic designs!

Freeport, Maine is a lovely  town along Maine's beautiful coastline. Freeport is known for its shopping, its coastal hiking trails, galleries, restaurants, and festivals. It's the perfect location for exploring southern and mid-coast Maine! Lighthouses, sailing trips, coastal villages, and artistic inspiration are around every corner.  We are also just 15 minutes drive-time to Portland, Maine!

Introduction to Micro Mosaic Jewelry

In this fun beginners class, you'll learn the art of micro mosaics through making one of a kind micro mosaic jewelry! You'll learn modern techniques to create this beautiful art form, originally produced in the 16th century by the Vatican School in Italy.

Instruction will include how to safely cut and use filati and millefiori, proper adhesives and puddy, and help designing your creations! You can make two pieces of jewelry in the class. Choices will be earrings, a pendant, or a brooch. 

Must be at least 18 years old to participate.
Limited to just 8 students!
