Mandolin Mosaics- about the artist

I've been creating art throughout my life. When I discovered mosaics in 2004, most other art forms could no longer compete with my love of glass.  I began with creating mosaics that became part of the structure of a home. - doing both large and small installations. However, limiting myself to installations was just not an option for me. Everywhere I looked, I was seeing things that needed to be covered with glass. I have dreams about glass and mosaics. About half of what I do comes from dreams. 

I live in Coastal Maine, with my husband, three children, feisty dog, and old cat.

The color and texture that mosaics add to a space make me incredibly happy. ...and creating mosaics for other people has added a whole new level of joy to something that I already loved so much. Hope you enjoy what you see, and come back often to see the new items I'll be adding!
